5. Born in Iowa but lived in Nebraska most of my life

4. HUGE Husker fan. It is ridiculous, really.

3. Worked with teenagers for almost 20 years as a high school teacher and a youth pastor.

2. Love leading Westwood and working with a great staff and a great congregation who love Jesus and love serving His Kingdom.

1. The biggest passion of my life is my family. My wife Cathy and I have been married almost 30 years. We have 3 sons: Jacob, Benjamin and Zachary.

5. Proud to be an Iowa State grad! I cheer for Kansas my oldest daughter's alma mater and of course Nebraska too! Did I mention I love coffee?

4. Music is definitely a filling station for me! I love to sing, listen to and experience just about any form of music out there!

3. Serving at Westwood! It is a honor to serve God at Westwood and so energizing and fun to develop opportunities for families and adults to be blessed, grow closer to the Savior and have some fun while it all happens!

2. Being a wife and mom of 6 amazing and wonderful kids is definitely a highlight of my days. Children are truly a gift from God and my life is full of joy thanks to that gift!!! Meet my family: Emily, Daniel, Rebecca, Victoria, Caleb, & Greta. They range in age from 22 down to 9! My husband Chris works at ACI and we have been married 24 years!

1. I am excited and privileged to be a radical follower of Jesus! I live my life for Him, am blessed to be His creation and daily give thanks for the blessing and gift of knowing Him as my Lord and Savior.

5. I’m a Creighton basketball fan – not quite to the extent Pastor Scott is a husker fan . . but still a fan!

4. Before working in Children’s Ministry, I taught middle school special education, and later 5th grade

1. I’m married to a great guy (Bob), and we have 2 kids (Shelby and Grant) who keep us busy, entertained, and humble.

1. I serve a great God that can do great things through everyday people. I’m humbled by the thought that he created the universe and yet still desires a relationship with me and I love sharing that amazing love with teenagers.

2. I love Chipotle Grill! I eat there several times a week - and its usually the exact same thing!

1. One of my favorite scripture is 2 Corinthians 5:17

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new"

I celebrate that every moment that I live is chance to chase after him, because he has made me new.

4. I was born on the same day as Chuck Berry and Jean-Claude VanDamme (in different years, of course). It was also the 221st birthday of the Mason-Dixon Line, the 137th birthday of Moby Dick, the 121st birthday of the U.S. owning Alaska- now known as Alaska Day, and was the 3 year anniversary of the Nintendo Entertainment System...it was also the 63rd anniversary of Albert Einstein's death, I guess I'm his replacement ;).

3. I love Spiderman, Dark Chocolate and Jesus (not in that order).
