Embrace Teachers Mission:
Celebrating and honoring city teachers on the front lines in the heart of our city.
Washington School
We need you to get involved! We are looking for leaders:
- Point person - A person to champion the entire Embrace Teachers Outreach. Design, develop and implement an outreach ministry involving the congregation. Encouraging members to get into the community with their gifts and talents to bless and honor teachers. Facilitate communication between the church and school.
- Prayer leader - A person who will oversee prayer for the teaching staff of Washington School.
- Encouragement Writer - Offer touches of encouragement to teachers through personal notes written regularly by several people.
- Arts & Crafts person - A person who loves to make crafty projects, loves to look for craft ideas, and/or would love to lead a group of crafters to bless teachers.
- Wish list administration - A person who would administrate the collection and distribution of items and volunteers from the congregation to the teachers.
- Food person - A person who loves to be creative with food and will build a team of others to bless teachers with food throughout the school year.

How can you help?:
- Receptionists - A friendly face of welcome
- Helpliners - Answer the phone form your home
- Advocates - Guide women through the process
- Nurses - LPN's and RN's needed
- Sonographers - For early, obstetric ultrasounds
- Teachers - Teach parenting to new moms
- They are in great need for someone to teach basic budgeting
- No teaching experience necessary for any teaching classes
- Boutique Assistants - Help new moms shop for needed things in the boutique
- Landscaping Teams - Help keep the place beautiful
